About the Teacher

My name is Jessica Bailey, and I am so excited to be here at Harmony Elementary School. This will be my tenth year of teaching! I am looking forward to an exciting year with my students and their parents!

Just a little info about me...I graduated from Bellarmine University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. I finished my master’s degree in Waldorf Education at Bellarmine. I grew up in Oldham County and attended Centerfield Elementary, Oldham County Middle, and Oldham County High School.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for three years.  We have a Maltese Mix dog named Honey. We are expecting our first son on August 31st!  


Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, going to Lake Cumberland, traveling, being outdoors, and reading.

Classroom Promise
When we care about each other and our classroom, we share what we have, listen carefully, help each other learn, work hard, and have fun together. We understand that everyone makes mistakes, that we stand up for ourselves and others, and when someone asks us to stop, we stop. This is who we are, even when no one is watching!
